‘The Woman in the Window’ By A.J. Finn to be directed by Joe Wright

186105.jpgA.J Finn’s The Woman in the Window as exclusively reported to Variety will be directed by Darkest Hour director Joe Wright. Tracy Letts will pen the script, and Scott Rudin and Eli Bush will produce the picture. Fox 2000 is backing the project.

Anna Fox lives alone—a recluse in her New York City home, unable to venture outside. She spends her day drinking wine (maybe too much), watching old movies, recalling happier times . . . and spying on her neighbors.

Then the Russells move into the house across the way: a father, mother, their teenaged son. The perfect family. But when Anna, gazing out her window one night, sees something she shouldn’t, her world begins to crumble and its shocking secrets are laid bare.

Wright has adapted other literary works such as “Pride & Prejudice” and “Atonement”.  He is repped by CAA and Independent Talent Group.
