The first trailer for ‘The House With A Clock In Its Walls’ by John Bellairs

The first trailer for the wonderful looking new children’s horror film (a genre that certainly doesn’t get enough attention) “The House With a Clock in its Walls,” by John Bellairs, and illustrated by the spectacular Edward Gorey in 1973.

Directed by the horror-film maker Eli Rother (Hostel) and adapted by Eric Kripke. The story follows an orphan, Lewis (Owen Vaccaro), who moves into the spooky mansion with his uncle (Jack Black). It will also co-star Cate Blanchett as the neighbor.”

“The House With a Clock in its Walls” premieres in theaters on Sept. 21.
