Anna Kendrick’s Stephanie goes searching for her missing friend Emily (Blake Lively) in the new trailer for A Simple Favor, released Friday. The Paul Feig-directed film is based on Darcey Bell‘s mystery novel of the same name. The film stars Blake 
Lively, Anna Kendrick, Henry Golding, Ian Ho, Joshua Satine, Linda Cardellini and Eric Johnson.
A Simple Favor follows suburban moms Emily and Stephanie, who create an unsuspecting bond when their sons become friends. Emily asks Stephanie to pick up her son from school before Emily suddenly goes missing. Following the disappearance of her friend, mommy blogger Stephanie makes it her mission to learn the truth about Emily’s whereabouts.
A Simple Favor hits theaters on September 14.
