Our June Books 2 Screen pick is Eating Animals by Jonathan Foer (2009, Little Brown). You can listen to past choices over on SoundCloud. We will be meeting on June 27thth to discuss!
For those not in London please feel free to discuss the book/film below and we will post a recording of the group to post!
Part memoir and part investigative report, Eating Animals is the groundbreaking moral examination of vegetarianism, farming, and the food we eat every day that inspired the documentary of the same name.
Natalie Portman narrates the documentary.
It was adapted and directed by Christopher Dillon Quinn. (God Grew Tired of Us and 21 Up America.).
The film is produced by Big Star Pictures, Handsomecharlie Films and Heretic Films.
We always encourage you to support your local independent bookseller in purchasing the book and independent cinemas in your viewing!
Last month we discussed You Were Never Really Here by Jonathan Ames.
